Our Select Program is designed for players seeking a higher level of training, competition, and long-term development within a structured team environment.

Evaluations for the 2026/2027 season will take place in July. Please register your child in the appropriate evaluation group based on their year of birth. Program details and league participation information are outlined below.

COMMITMENT FEE & EVALUATION REGISTRATION

The cost to participate in evaluations is $20.

During registration, you will also see a $200 Commitment Fee listed. This fee is not charged at the time of registration if you select the installment payment option during checkout. Choosing the installment option will leave the Commitment Fee in a pending status until team selections have been finalized.

The Commitment Fee serves as an indication of a player's intent to accept a roster position if offered and helps the club complete team formation and roster planning in a timely manner.

If your child is selected to a Select Team:

• The $200 Commitment Fee will automatically be processed using the payment method provided during registration.
• The Commitment Fee is applied directly toward your child's seasonal player fees as the initial deposit.
• When completing team registration, the remaining balance owing will reflect the Commitment Fee already paid.
• The Commitment Fee is non-refundable once a player has been selected and notified of the roster position.

If, during the evaluation process your child no longer wishes to be considered for team selection, written notification must be provided no later than 24 hours after the start time of their final evaluation session.

Players who are not selected to a Select Team will not be charged the Commitment Fee. Any pending Commitment Fee transaction will be cancelled, or refunded if already processed.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

U10-U12 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Season: September – June

This program focuses on individual skill development, confidence, game understanding, and preparation for future competitive soccer opportunities.

League Play:
• Participate in the COYSA Outdoor Development League (April – June + September - October)
• U10 game days are typically Saturdays
• U11 and U12 game days are typically Sundays
• U12 teams may be invited to participate in the Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League (TOYSL) at the discretion of the Technical Staff

Travel:
• League games are played throughout the Central Okanagan and South Okanagan, generally between Lake Country and Penticton

Training:
• Two training sessions per week from September through June
• Short breaks during December and Spring Break

U13 SELECT PROGRAM

Season: September – June

The U13 age group represents the transition from Development Soccer into full Select Soccer competition.

League Play:
• Participate in the Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League (TOYSL) from April – June
• Most games are played on Sundays
• Scores and standings are not officially tracked
• Teams do not compete for Provincial Championship qualification at the U13 level

Travel:
• Games are played throughout the Thompson-Okanagan region, including Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Kamloops, and Revelstoke

Training:
• Two training sessions per week from September through June
• Short breaks during December and Spring Break

U14-U18 SELECT PROGRAM

Season: September – June

The U14-U18 Select Program provides players with a competitive environment focused on advanced player development and team performance.

League Play:
• Participate in the Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League (TOYSL) from April – June
• Most games are played on Sundays
• Teams compete for qualification to the BC Soccer Provincial Championships held in early July

Travel:
• Games are played throughout the Thompson-Okanagan region, including Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Kamloops, and Revelstoke

Training:
• Two training sessions per week from September through June
• Short breaks during December and Spring Break
