Staff Announcement: Welcome Logan Ellis to Okanagan United FC
We are excited to announce that Logan Ellis has joined Okanagan United FC as our Grassroots Technical Lead, Club Goalkeeping Coach, and a BCSPL Head Coach.
A Calgary native, Logan brings a wealth of experience to our technical team. He has coached elite-level teams in the Alberta Player Development League (APDL) and holds multiple coaching certifications. He’s also a former U SPORTS athlete with UBC Okanagan, where he competed at a high level. After his U Sports playing career, he went on to work with the of Mount Royal University, the University of Calgary Men’s and Women’s program and SAIT as the assistant coach. During this time Logan developed a deep understanding of the player pathway from grassroots to post-secondary performance.
In his role as Grassroots Lead, Logan will oversee the planning and delivery of programming for players aged U5–U12, ensuring alignment with Canada Soccer’s LTPD model and our club’s development-first philosophy. He’ll also be leading coach support and education initiatives within the grassroots stream, helping mentor our volunteer coaches and elevate the overall player experience.
Additionally, Logan will serve as a Head Coach within the BCSPL program, guiding one of our high-performance teams through a season of training, competition, and personal growth. As Club Goalkeeping Coach, he’ll support keepers across all streams in their technical and tactical development.
Please join us in welcoming Logan to the Okanagan United community. We look forward to the positive impact he’ll make across all levels of the club.
