BCSPL Pathway – Player Development Program

Okanagan United FC is pleased to offer the OUFC Player Development Program (BCSPL Pathway) — an 8-week intensive training program designed for current BCSPL players and invited players of distinction, with the purpose of supporting ongoing development and evaluation within the BCSPL pathway.

This program provides a focused, high-intensity training environment led by National Diploma Licensed coaching staff, aligned with the technical and tactical demands of BCSPL play.


Program Details

Duration: 8 weeks (two 4-week phases)
Session Length: 60 minutes
Day: Saturdays
Start Date: Saturday, January 10

Session Times & Age Groups:
2011/2012: 11:00–12:00
2009/2010: 12:00–1:00

Location: Rutland Dome


Training Focus

Sessions are designed to address key areas required for success at the BCSPL level, including:

  • Goalkeeping and finishing

  • Midfield combinations and rotations

  • Individual and unit defending

Training is progressive and session-based, with each week building on previous concepts.


Eligible Players

  • Current 2009/2010 and 2011/2012 BCSPL players

  • Select invited players of distinction identified for BCSPL consideration


Program Dates

Phase 1:
January 10, January 24, January 31, February 7

Phase 2:
February 21, February 28, March 7, March 14

Players may register for Phase 1 Only of for both Phase 1 & 2


Registration & Fees

  • Cost: $99 per phase

  • Phase 1 Registration Deadline: January 3

  • Phase 2 Registration Deadline: February 14

Spaces are limited to maintain a focused training environment.


Coaching Staff

All sessions are delivered by OUFC National Diploma Licensed coaches, ensuring training standards aligned with BCSPL expectations and long-term player development.
